A versatile PV module offering an excellent balance of reliability, efficiency and value.
The Conergy P Series solar modules provide a highly cost-effective solution and are well-suited for a wide array of applications. Conergy P modules are available in a range of physical sizes and power outputs and in both clear anodized frames and attractive "black-on-black" versions. The module line-up consists of both 72-cell mono and 60-cell polycrystalline modules. The monocrystalline version isavailable as a 180W, silver-framed module, and the polycrystalline versions are available with silver frames in power outputs of 230W and 235W, and as a black frame, black back sheet version in power outputs of 225W and 230W. With their high yields, and long-service-life design, they are versatile enough for project scales from residential to utility-sized.
The Conergy P is made for Conergy by a first tier Chinese PV manufacturer to Conergy’s own specification and quality control standards. Conergy P module production is certified to ISO 9001 international quality standards and Conergy continually monitors the production process to insure strict and consistent product quality.
Below are a few of the significant adaptations we required before affixing the Conergy label to the Conergy P series PV module.
- Quality: Conergy placed a full-time employee in the factory to monitor every aspect of the manufacturing lines on which the Conergy P modules are produced. We maintain tight acceptance controls for all specifications of the finished module. Modules outside these limits may be sold under another label, but will never become a Conergy module. The result is increased confidence that a Conergy P module will meet all published performance and warranty specifications.
- Engineering and Production Controls: Conergy's rigorous vendor qualification process is lengthy and comprehensive. It involves weeks spent in the production facility to insure that the processes employed in the production of the Conergy P meet our precise and exacting specifications. For example, during the qualification process Conergy's Supply Chain and Module Engineering personnel discovered a serious problem with the flash test calibration at the end of the vendor's production line. As a result, the equipment was recalibrated resulting in accurate measurement and classification of the modules produced.
- Warranty: As a result of these more stringent engineering and quality procedures, Conergy is able to provide a 90%/12-year – 80%/25-year output warranty, similar to that which is offered on the premium Conergy PowerPlus Series. In addition, the Conergy P module warranty covering both material/workmanship and power output is fully backed by Conergy, not by the original equipment manufacturer.
- Conergy Support: Product support and warranty claims for Conergy P are conducted exclusively with Conergy. Conergy's strong North American presence includes a full complement of technical and sales support personnel, further backed by the resources and strength of a mature global organization.
Our strong understanding of quality assurance stems from the extensive PV manufacturing knowledge gained at our own module production and testing facilities located in Frankfurt-Oder, Germany. Through our distinct specifications and quality inspection processes, we apply this first-hand knowledge and experience to ensure that our Conergy P manufacturing partners produce modules truly worthy of the Conergy name.
