Conergy has leveraged experience gained at its own state-of-the-art, vertically integrated solar panel manufacturing facility which enabled Conergy to manufacture solar panels from the silicon ingot stage to a finished product in one location. The experience as a vertically integrated manufacturer provides Conergy end-to-en quality assurance processes and solar module product design capabilities which it has applied to all solar module manufacturing partnerships. As a solar panel manufacturer Conergy design goal is to synchronize and optimize the entire solar panel instead of individual parts for a higher yield and a more efficient total system.

Conergy created the innovative 3-busbar PV cell design. When solar cell suppliers were using a 2-busbar cell design to optimize the efficiency of a PV cell, Conergy introduced the 3-busbar PV cell design which optimizes the lifetime yield of the entire solar panel. As solar panels manufacturer, Conergy has a full solar research and solar module testing facility at on location. This allows more frequent quality testing during production and continuous improvement in our products.
